22 July 1991: After debating in detail the Commission's proposal for a Council Decision concerning the IMPACT 2 programme (COM(90) 570, of 23 January 1991), the Council requested that the Committee of Permanent Representatives take up the matter. To date, it is agreed that the programme is to be of four years duration. The estimated budgetary appropriation for this period is ECU 64 million.
