The European Commission, Euratom Safeguards Directorate, has published an invitation to tender for the supply of high-level consultancy services for the analysis and design of a nuclear materials accountancy and control database system (NMACS) for use by Gosatomnadzor of Russia, Northern European District Directorate. This contract is part of Euratom support to the Commonwealth of Independent States, within the framework of the Euratom Safeguards Project.

The consultancy services are to be provided at the headquarters of the Euratom Safeguards Directorate in Luxembourg. The consultant(s) proposed must satisfy the following criteria:

- At least three years' experience in the analysis and design of client/server database systems using the ORACLE RDEMS, ORACLE development tools and, optionally, ORACLE CASE or LBMS system engineer;
- At least 2 years' experience in project management of design and construction of large client/server databases.
