Contract award notice: CORDIS
The European Commission, DG XIII, has published a contract award notice concerning the continuous operation and further development of the Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS) and the provision of related services in connection with the dissemination of information on research and technological development activities of the EU. During the next contractual period of three years, the following developments are expected in CORDIS: - Improvement of the databases (increased quality of data and user interface); - Additional functionality, including multi-media; - The use of new information channels and inclusion of gateways to other pan-European RTD information services. The contract is divided into two lots as follows: - Lot 1: Information collection and database production; - Lot 2: User service and support. A total of seven tenders were received in response to this invitation to tender. Contracts were awarded, in December 1995, to: - Lot 1 Cartermill International Ltd. GR-11525 Athens During the total contractual period of three years, the following amounts, in ECU, will not be exceeded: - Lot 1: 11,607,316 - Lot 2: 8,655,000 - Total: 20,262,316.
