Scientific cooperation of the European Union with third Mediterranean countries
The European Commission, DG XII, has published a second edition of its report on "Scientific cooperation of the European Union with third Mediterranean countries" (see RCN 4772). The publication, which updates a previous edition of March 1995, provides a catalogue of joint research projects, funded by the European Communities, involving participants from third Mediterranean countries. This includes all projects carried out under the Science and Technology for Developing Countries (STD), International Scientific Cooperation (ISC) and AVICENNE (Science and technology cooperation with the Maghreb and the countries of the Mediterranean Basin) programmes.
