Radiological exposure resulting from radioactivity in the Baltic Sea
The European Commission, DG XI, has published an invitation to tender for the completion of a detailed study resulting in an evaluation of the radiological impact of radioactivity in the Baltic Sea on the population of its member states, in the light of the discharge of natural and artificial radionuclides and the consumption of marine products (Marina-Balt project: contract reference XI/C1/96/024). The call also includes the organization of a seminar, to be held in one of the member states of the Baltic region, to disseminate and discuss the results of the study. Only tenders for the entire project will be taken into consideration.
