Resolution on Euro-Mediterranean tourism cooperation
The Council of Ministers of the European Union has published a resolution on Euro-Mediterranean cooperation regarding tourism, adopted at the Tourism Council on 13 May 1996. The resolution calls on both the Commission and Member States to examine possibilities for cooperation with Mediterranean countries, and to take action in the following areas: - Information about tourist activity; - Training of those involved in tourism; - Promotion of tourism.
