Parliament opinion on RTD Annual Report 1995
The European Parliament has adopted its opinion on the Commission's 1995 annual report on the research and technological development activities of the European Union. The opinion was adopted by the Parliament at its meeting in Brussels on 5 September 1996. The Parliament welcomed the report - the first to cover all the RTD activities of the Community - and its extended coverage which allows a good overview of the range of activities funded by the Framework Programmes. It was felt, however, that the report did not go sufficiently beyond the simple description of RTD activities, and that more in-depth analysis should be incorporated in future annual reports.
