The European Commission, DG V, has published an invitation to tender for an organization to assist with the implementation of the European innovative actions programme, which falls under Article 6 of the European Social Fund Regulation. The Commission is seeking an organization with an international vocation and, preferably, from a group, to assist it with the implementation of pilot projects in the fields of innovative regional and local actions involving "new labour basins". The organization selected will be responsible for: - a) Preparatory work involved in issuing calls for proposals and managing applications; - b) Monitoring and carrying out pilot projects and setting up the corresponding computer file; - c) Drafting reports for the Commission's attention on the implementation of the programme, projects within the programme and their impact as compared to the targeted objectives; - d) Administrative and financial management of the experts assigned by the Commission to help with selection, technical assistance and project evaluation; - e) Development and communication actions. The contract will last for one year initially, and may be renewed annually up to a maximum period of three years.
