BIOTECH training fellowships in plant molecular genetics
A number of short-term training fellowships are being funded by the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of Biotechnology (BIOTECH) to further the work of the project of technical priority (PTP) in plant molecular genetics. This project is open to European scientists working in the field of plant molecular biology and allied disciplines. Successful applicants will receive a grant to undertake research of between one and six months duration, in a laboratory in another country of the EU or the EEA (European Economic Area). Applications are particularly invited in the following areas: - Plant growth factors and plant development; - Abiotic stress; - Synthesis, mobilization, translocation and partitioning of storage products; - Nitrogen utilization and efficiency.
