Cooperation in information technologies with Mediterranean third countries
The European Commission, DG III, has published an invitation to tender aimed at selecting appropriate training or research bodies and centres, universities and undertakings, able to carry out successfully the provision of services supporting cooperation in information technologies with Mediterranean third countries. Services requested are divided into the following five lots: - Lot 1: Provision of services in connection with the establishment of centres to provide support to the use of WWW and multimedia systems in the Mediterranean region; - Lot 2: Provision of services in connection with the establishment of centres to provide support to the use of electronic commerce facilities in the Mediterranean region; - Lot 3: Provision of services in connection with the establishment of laboratories to provide support for software quality audit and certification in the Mediterranean region; - Lot 4: Provision of services in connection with the establishment of centres to provide support to the use of high-performance computing and networking in the Mediterranean region; - Lot 5: Provision of services in connection with the establishment of centres to provide support to best practice in the use of technologies for business processes in the Mediterranean region.
