The European Commission, DG VII, has published an invitation to tender for the provision of services in the area of intermodal transport infrastructure policy.

The Commission intends to employ an expert in multimodal transport specialized in the area of intermodal interconnection centres within the context of the trans-European transport network. The services of the expert should cover technical, organizational and socio-economic assessment of intermodal platform projects in the European Union, as well as a comparison of the relevant intermodal policies of the Member States. The consultant shall assist the Commission in the formulation of policy proposals, and will work in the Commission's offices in Brussels.
