Environmental radioactivity in the EC
The European Commission, DG XI and the Joint Research Centre, has published a report on levels of environmental radioactivity in the European Community in 1991. The report is one of a series published annually, under the EURATOM Treaty. The report summarizes data received from the Member States and measures trends and patterns evident in the European Community. The report takes data for ten nuclide categories in five sampling media, as follows: - Airborne particulates: Be-7, Cs-137; - Surface water: Cs-137; - Drinking water: H-3, Sr-90, Cs-137; - Milk: Sr-90, Cs-137; - Mixed diet: Sr-90, Cs-137.
