Parliamentary resolution on aid for Chernobyl victims
A resolution of the European Parliament (12 March 1992) calls on the Commission to propose, as a matter of urgency, a comprehensive long term programme of medical, economic and social assistance for the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The resolution also calls for the closure of unsafe nuclear power plants and those over 20 years old.
