High level representatives of the European Commission services and the European Parliament will present the objectives, contents and rules for successful participation in the 6th EU Framework Programme. The responsible Federal Ministers and the President of the Austrian Economic Chamber will explain the Austrian goals for the involvement in the European research and technology activities.
,The EU Research and Technology Forum for Industry, Science and Administration
The Austrian FP6 Kick off Conference addresses decision makers from companies, universities and other research establishments, and other organisations with strategic interest in research and technological development. Target groups of the Conference are participants from Austria and other countries eligible for the EU Framework Programme, particularly from the candidate countries and from south eastern European countries, the western Balkan states.
,The Information and Assistance Forum for Successful European Research and Technology Cooperation
BIT hosts National Contact Points for all parts of the EU Framework Programme. During the whole Conference, these experts as well as the Austrian delegates in the EC Programme Committees will be available for infomation of the participants. In addition, National Contact Points from Candidate Countries and from other European countries will be available, to provide information on the research potential of their countries and the respective opportunities for cooperation.
