Luxembourg FP6 launch conference

The Luxembourg national conference to launch the Sixth Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP6) will take place on 29th January, 2003.

Luxinnovation GIE, the national agency for the promotion of innovation and research in Luxembourg and the national contact point for the FP6, coordinates the official launching conference of the 6th framework programme (FP6) to be held next Wednesday, January 29th, at the Chamber of Commerce of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.
This event, placed under the high patronage of Mrs. Erna Hennicot-Schoepges, Minister of Culture, Higher Education and Research, aims at introducing the objectives of the FP6 and informing the audience on collaboration opportunities in the frame of this ambitious European programme.
Keynote speakers from the European Commission will present eligible actions for European co-financing, available instruments and conditions to participate. Workshops and specific topics will be developed, such as Information society technologies, aeronautics and space, nanotechnologies and materials, biotechnology, food safety, sustainable development, and global change and ecosystems.
The conference is intended for researchers and managers from academia, industry, small and medium-sized companies and associations.
