Third European Business Summit - "Research and innovation: A European strategy for more growth and jobs"

The European Business Summit is the most important dialogue in Brussels between leading business people and European policy makers. After the success of the two first editions, the European Commission, UNICE and the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium have decided to focus on Research and innovation: A European strategy for more growth and jobs at the third European Business Summit.

The next European Business Summit will address the question whether Europe can meet the objective it set itself to become the most competitive knowledge-based economy by 2010 or whether the Lisbon programme is a mere incantation with little or no implementation?
At only two weeks before the Spring EU Summit, which usually focuses its discussion on the economic climate in Europe, the European Business Summit will allow the business world to deliver their message to the European political leaders.
