European Executive MBA in Higher Education and Research Management
Higher education institutions and research organizations are facing increasing management demands arising from pressures on finance, enrolments, teaching needs and research. In addition, the reforms proceeding from the Bologna Process and the development of the European Research Area require that these demands must be addressed in a European context. The role of Higher Education and Research Institutions has changed significantly in the last decade and promises to continue to do so. Appropriately educated professional management and leadership skills will be required for institutions to meet the challenges that lie ahead. In response to these changes, a consortium comprising the Institute of Education, University of London; Universiteit Maastricht Business School; Deutsche Hochschule für Verwaltungswissenschaften Speyer (in co-operation with the Center for Science and Research Management); Universidad Politecnica de Valencia; and coordinated by ESMU, the European Centre for Strategic Management of Universities has designed a new two-year European MBA in Higher Education and Research Management (HERM). The degree will be awarded jointly by the Universities of London and Maastricht. See http://www.euroherm.org(si apre in una nuova finestra) for further information
