ENVITEX – Textile Research and Innovation Environment in ACC
International project ENVITEX is financed from the founds of 6th Framework Program and its objective is to strengthen participation of the textile enterprises from 5 new member states (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Slovenia) to the European projects of R&D and innovation. ENVITEX project offers actual chance to help to the enterprises in searching for the project partners as well as help them to offer their knowledge and skills to the prestigious partners from the EU countries. In the frame of the project there is an international database processing profiles of the textile and clothing enterprises and organisations that are interested in participating to the European innovating oriented programmes. By this time the database administers profiles of 81 textile and clothing enterprises and organisations from which 18 are from the Czech Republic, 23 from Slovakia, 9 from Slovenia, 23 from Hungary and 8 from Poland. To increase the efficiency of the database, profiles of potential partners from other countries will be included. Project processing Project started at the end of August 2004 and its duration is 18 months. Its consortium consists of 9 R&D and educational institutions from 5 new member states. The main objective of the project is to set up and implement textile sector information database as a support tool for encouragement of the previous ACC textile subjects` participation in FP6. This database is being continuously extended, updated and entered to the central CORDIS database.
