Authorizations for State aid: Energy; environment
Authorizations for State aid (cases where the Commission raises no objections) include, in Germany: - Aid to an energy saving programme in Baden-Wurttemberg to support companies investing in technologically new products and processes, aiming to stimulate rational use of energy as well as increased utilization of renewable energy sources (ECU 2.25-2.75 million per annum). - Loans for environmental protection measures undertaken by companies in Baden-Wurttemberg (ECU 1.75-2.25 million per annum). - A programme of grants to encourage the modernization of heating systems in SMEs, Saxony (ECU 3 million). - "1000 Roofs Photovoltaics Programme": The promotion of demonstration projects for small photovoltaic solar energy systems, awarding grants for their installation to owners of family houses in Saxony-Anhalt (ECU 1.4 million) and in Hessen (ECU 1.2 million).
