Council Resolution on ISDN
A Council Resolution on the development of Integrated Services Digital Networks (ISDN) in the Community as a European-wide telecommunications infrastructure for 1993 and beyond calls in particular for the finalization and adoption of Euro-ISDN standards by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute and the coordination of the introduction of ISDN within the Community. The Resolution (published in Official Journal No C 158 of 25.6.1992) invites telecommunications organizations to harmonize and publish migration plans from currently existing ISDN offerings to the Euro-ISDN and invites Member States to encourage the rapid introduction of Euro-ISDN.
