3rd EARSeL Workshop on Imaging Spectroscopy

The EARSeL SIG-IS Workshop is a forum to report scientific research and applications results in the field of imaging spectroscopy. Sessions will address instrument development, processing and calibration, new methods and algorithms as well as thematic applications with focus on limnology, agriculture/forestry, soil sciences and geology. Poster and plenary sessions will be held.

,EARSeL groups approximately 250 institutes throughout Europe specialising in research and applications of remote sensing techniques in all fields where it is proving to be an invaluable tool, such as natural hazard monitoring, agriculture, coastal zone management, cartography, etc. Its activities are channelled through Special Interest Groups that organise regularly high-level workshops on topics at the cutting edge of research, such as factors contributing to global warming, monitoring the environment and sustainable development in developing countries.
