United Kingdom
Singleimage Limited is running a workshop intended for research managers and administrators who wish to update their knowledge of EC research funding, at St John's Innovation Centre, Cambridge, UK. It is also suitable for newcomers to EC research, once they have digested some pre-course reading.
FRAMEWORK SIX - UNPLUGGED - Wednesday 28 May 2003
This workshop will explain how the European Commissions mechanisms for research support operate in practice without the politics! Fifteen months after the Commission published its initial ideas on the administrative rules for the 17.5 billion Framework Six, operational details are still emerging. What constitutes an Integrated Project or a Network of Excellence, how smaller projects differ from their new cousins, and the financial and contractual terms will all be covered in this workshop.
The number of participants is limited to 25, to allow high levels of interaction and plenty of time for questions. The workshop will consist of lectures, practical exercises and feedback sessions.
