International conference on Fluidized Bed Combustion

The 19th international conference on Fluidized bed combustion, fluidized bed gasification, energy conversion, new concepts, CO2 reduction, biomass, alternative fuels, environment issues and more will be held in Vienna, Austria on May 21-24, 2006.

21 Mai 2006 - 24 Mai 2006

Topics:,Fluidized bed combustion, fluidized bed gasification, fluidized bed conversion, new concepts, novel processes, CO2 reduction, biomass utilization, fossil fuels, waste, alternative fuels, NOx, SO2, emissions, ash, trace elements, heavy metals, particulates, hydrodynamics, heat transfer, chemical kinetics, high temperature processes, metallurgical processes, computational fluid dynamics, modeling, fundamentals & applications.
After the successful 18th FBC conference which was held in Toronto May 2005 the steering committee agreed to follow up with the 19th FBC conference already in May 2006. After then it is planned to fall into a three-year cycle similar to other conferences in the area of fluidized bed technology. It is a great honor and pleasure for us to host the 19th FBC conference which will take place for its first time outside of North America. I wish all of the participants, authors, contributors, exhibitors a very fruitful and exciting conference as well as a wonderful stay in Vienna.
