Baltic FP7 series of training events in Poland

NCP Poland, partner of Boosting Baltic FP6 project (http://www.scanbalt.org/sw227.asp(öffnet in neuem Fenster)) plans to organize a series of training events in several Polish major cities. The workshops are focused on preparing Polish Health research community for incoming 7th Framework Programme.
The first workshop was organized in Poznan on June 9.
Several others are scheduled:
• Krakow – September 14
• Gdansk – September 27
• Lodz – October 20 during BioForum 2006 (http://www.bioforum.pl/eng.php(öffnet in neuem Fenster))
• Warsaw – November 16 during the Inauguration of 7th Framework Programme in Poland (http://www.kpk.gov.pl/inauguracja7pr/english/(öffnet in neuem Fenster))
The main goal of Warsaw workshop is to introduce the Health thematic area objectives for years 2007-2013. Several Polish project ideas will also be presented. Potential proposers and future project partners will have the opportunity to consult and discuss their project ideas with representatives from European Commission DG Health, Innovative Medicine Initiative (IMI) technology platform, ScanBalt network and Boosting Baltic FP6 project partners.
Next events are foreseen for December 2006 and January 2007.
