European multimedia, embedded systems and electronic commerce

EMMSEC'99, a conference and exhibition on European multimedia, embedded systems and electronic commerce, will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, from 21 to 23 June 1999. The conference, which will be supported by the European Commission, is the ninth in a series of annual conferences devoted to new developments and business opportunities in the areas of electronic commerce, multimedia, technologies for business processes and embedded systems.

The conference will comprise a series of plenary and parallel sessions dealing with new technologies, their convergence, applications, business systems, commercial opportunities and potential business, with particular regard to SMEs. The conference organisers are currently seeking the submission of papers for presentation during the conference under the following subject headings:

- Electronic commerce;
- Multimedia;
- Technologies for business processes;
- Embedded systems.
