Workshop on EU-China research co-operation in the field of infectious deseases
flu, and other important viral infections; bacterial infections, drug resistance and hospital infections, as well as control strategies on infectious diseases and new approaches for vaccine development.
The workshop sets out to review the current state of knowledge and technology on infectious diseases, and to define strategies for translational research on improvement of human health. Moreover, bilateral discussions on possible cooperation between China and the EU in infectious diseases research, including joint proposals for FP7, will be initiated.
