The most influential event for South-East Europe in the field of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency will be held from 13th to 15th April in IEC - Sofia.
A growing body of scientific literature shows that climate change is happening and that it is influenced by human activities that have led to a marked increase in greenhouse gas emissions since pre-industrial times.
Renewable sources of energy – wind power, solar power (thermal, photovoltaic and concentrated), hydro-electric power, tidal power, geothermal energy and biomass – are essential alternatives to fossil fuels. Their use reduces our greenhouse gas emissions, diversifies our energy supply and reduces our dependence on unreliable and volatile fossil fuel markets (in particular oil and gas). The growth of renewable energy sources also stimulates employment in Europe, the creation of new technologies and improves our trade balance.
Participants will learn about the latest trends, get expert analysis and forecasts, make face-to-face contacts with representatives of institutions and public administration, managers, investors and industry experts from the following sectors:
