"Science for Society" Brokerage Event in Brussels, Belgium

The networking event will take place on 7th of October 2011 at the Management Centre for Europe, Brussels, and will be organised by SiS.net in cooperation with the European Commission.

The main aim of the SiS Brokerage Event is to provide first-hand information by the European Commission officials about the FP7 SiS 2012 Call, to be launched on 20th July 2011, and to bring all stakeholders (universities, research institutions, civil society organisations, SMEs, public bodies, science centres, etc.) together in order to meet potential coordinators and partners in a fruitful networking environment.

At the event, participants will receive information on the following research areas:

• Mobilization and Mutual Learning Activities (MMLs)
• Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) on tackling societal challenges
• Gender in Science and Research
• New developments in Science Education
