Early-bird registration open for 2nd VAMP Workshop

The goal of VAMP2013 is to foster the deployment of identity management and collaboration tools within the research community. Participants will hear about the latest developments in identity federation support for research communities, how they can (and cannot) use identity federation, what are the experiences of research communities with collaborative infrastructures, and what tools are available for strengthening collaboration. Specific ideas and suggestions for the programme are still welcome - please contact us at: vamp2013@list.surfnet.nl.
The VAMP organisers are TERENA (Trans-European Research and Education Networking Association) and SURFnet, the Dutch national research and education networking organisation. They welcome wide participation from among international research groups, including social science and humanities research groups as well as large science and engineering collaborations. IT architects from campuses and national research and education networking (NREN) organisations who are engaged in supporting the identity management needs of the research and education community are invited to participate as are representatives of funding agencies that support virtual organisations and scientific research.
This VAMP workshop is a sequel to the 2012 event and will be co-located with the FIM4R and REFEDS meetings on the following days. The early bird registration for VAMP 2013 is €150. From 17 August the full fee of €200 will apply.
