The subject of the INsPiRE event will be the molecular basis of the effects of natural products on cell cycle regulation.
The 3rd workshop of the FP7-REGPOT-INsPiRE project is entitled: "Cell Cycle and Natural Products". The workshop will take place in Athens, Greece, 8-9 May 2014. The keypoints of the event will focus on the molecular mechanisms underlying the different effects that compounds of natural origin have on the regulation of cell cycle as well as corresponding checkpoints. Novel discoveries relating natural products with cell cycle like e.g. kinase inhibitors will be discussed. Moreover, all processes of product exploitation up to the level of clinical trials will be addressed. Experts in the field from City of Hope-NMC USA, Ohio State University USA, CNRS France, Instutute Pasteur France, University Paris Descartes France, University of Basel, Johannes Gutenberg University Germany, Ludwig-Maximilians-University Germany and others will deliver keynote lectures.
The registration is free of charge. Please register until April 18 at:
