AutoMin 2021: The 1st Shared Task on Automatic Minuting

In today’s increasing world of online interactions, support for summarising meetings in the form of structured minutes from speech can offer time savings of up to 80 %. This shared task on automatic minuting is geared towards creating minutes from multi-party meetings. The shared task will comprise one main task and two supporting tasks for two meeting scenarios: technical meetings and parliamentary proceedings.
The overall objective is to rejuvenate community interest in deep learning and efficient language models in speech and natural language processing and tackle challenges in creating a unified framework for automatic minuting of meetings. AutoMin 2021 is endorsed by the International Speech Communication Association and will be held as an Interspeech 2021 satellite event.
