Economic and Social Committee: Agenda, February 1994

The Economic and Social Committee (ESC) will meet in Plenary Session on 23-24 February 1994. The following ESC Opinions on RTD-related subjects are tabled for discussion:

- Responsibility for damage to the environment;
- The Europe against AIDS programme;
- The Cohesion Fund;
- Limitation of the use of dangerous substances (aerosols).

The work of the Economic and Social Committee involves the examination in Committee of EU legislative matters. The ESC may also act on its own initiative to adopt Opinions on matters which may concern the EU institutions. The adopted ESC Opinions are published in the Official Journal.
