THERMIE Seminar "Urban transport in European cities: Choices for the future"

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy (DG XVII) has organized, in the framework of the THERMIE programme, a seminar on "Urban transport in European cities: Choices for the future", to be held in Moscow on 16-17 May 1994.
The seminar, organized by members of the OPET network, focuses on:
- The major former changes in urban transport systems in Russia and Western Europe and their effects in terms of efficiency (regarding costs, energy and the environment);
- Recent trends in urban transport control systems;
- Future perspectives for urban transport.
