THERMIE Advanced Biomass Technologies for Heat Generation Workshop

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy (DG XVII) has organized, in the framework of the THERMIE programme, a workshop on "Advanced technologies for heat generation", to be held in Marianske Lazne, Czech Republic, on 9 June 1994.
The workshop will focus on the following:
- Existing biomass utilization schemes;
- Ecological, legislative and financial aspects of biomass technologies;
- Marketable technical solutions for the wider use of biomass technologies;
- Framework conditions for wider dissemination in the Czech Republic.
