TEN-ISDN Workshop '94

The European Commission, DG XIII, is organizing a workshop entitled "TEN-ISDN '94" on 10-11 October 1994 in Brussels. The event will present the results of completed studies on policy, services and market expectations in the area of Euro-ISDN as a trans-European network.

Euro-ISDN was recognized as one of the key factors in the establishment of the information society in the report on "Europe and the global information society" prepared by the group of industrialists under the chairmanship of Commissioner Bangemannn.

The workshop will address the following topics:

- Obstacles to Euro-ISDN;
- Market analysis and forecast for Euro-ISDN services;
- Euro-label;
- LAN interconnection via Euro-ISDN;
- Social impact for Euro ISDN.
