Efficient energy use for the paper and pulp industry

A workshop on new technologies for the efficient use of energy in the pulp and paper industry will take place in Madrid on 20 October 1994. The event is being organized by the THERMIE programme of the European Community, in collaboration with the Spanish Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) and the Spanish Paper Institute (IPE).

Experts from both the pulp and paper industry will present technologies and case studies which lead to cost-effective improvements in energy efficiency and environmental performance. Aspects of proposed European legislation which will have an impact on the pulp and paper industry will also be presented.
