European Microelectronics Conference

A European Microelectronics Conference will take place in Grenoble, France, on 12-13 October 1994. The conference will comprise the following two parallel sessions:
- The third forum of European equipment and materials manufacturers for the microelectronics industry;
- JESSI project assessment.
The main goal of the project assessment session will be to present the major results achieved in four large JESSI projects. The selected projects will provide an overview of JESSI and will address microelectronics process development, equipment studies as well as designs for specific applications.
The event will also include a round table on the future of European microelectronics during which European Commission officials and senior executives from semiconductor and equipment manufacturers will discuss the challenges facing the microelectronics industry in Europe.
