In the framework of the VALUE programme, a workshop on "Technologies and multimedia applications for publishing" will take place in Bari, Italy, on 16-17 November 1994.
The event aims to bring together operators from the publishing world and those concerned with technological innovation in the sector (research centres, providers of technological innovation, specialized consultancies, etc.) with the aim of providing an overview of electronic publishing. The experiences of selected publishing houses, the results of research in the sector, and the support actions and opportunities offered by the European Union will be presented.
The workshop will host a display of multimedia applications and technologies.
