Environment in Europe: New policies and the "greening" of industry

The European Commission, DG XI, in collaboration with the Club de Bruxelles and the Europe Environment GIS Group, is organizing a conference on "Environment in Europe: New policies and the 'greening' of industry". It will take place on 23-24 February 1995 in Brussels.
Organized in the context of the revision of the fifth European environmental action programme in 1995, the conference will discuss the impact of enterprises' activities on the environment, the importance of an ecological image, and the necessity for good cooperation between all concerned parties on the environment. Eco-marketing, eco-management, eco-reporting, eco-audit and eco-label are some of the instruments which will be discussed within the context of the "greening" of the economy in Europe.
