Post-graduate seminar on science, society and the environment

The Environment Institute of Grenoble is organizing a post-graduate seminar entitled "Sciences, society and the environment", which will take place in Chambery, France, on 28 August to 8 September 1995.
The seminar is intended for post-graduate students in the field of human and social sciences. The programme for the event will deal with aspects of research on environmental problems and will cover the following areas:
- Epistemology and disciplinary approaches;
- Methodology and value measurement, and modelization;
- Policy making and institutional involvement.
The course will include a series of thematic lectures and study presentations.
