Assistive technology for the disabled

A conference entitled "Assistive technology - A way to independent life" will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, on 10-13 October 1995.

The conference will present new experiences in technologies directed towards the disabled. It will also provide a platform for the exchange of research results applied to the rehabilitation of people with disabilities.

Conference topics will include the following:

- Aspects of assistive technologies;
- Device development;
- End-user experiences;
- Technology transfer;
- Assistive technologies for people with developmental disabilities.

The conference organizers have published a call for papers.
