A conference entitled "Telematics for regional development" will take place in Heerlen, the Netherlands, on 28-30 September 1995. The event is organized by the European Regional Programme for South Limbourg, the Netherlands.
The conference will examine the use of telematics for regional and social development in both rural and urban areas. It will cover accessing information through telelibraries, teleworking, telelearning, telemedicine, and telematics for public administrations, as well as the use of telematics for the development of regional tourism.
