New insulation technologies

A workshop on "New insulation technologies" is being organized by the OPET network, in collaboration with the Commission (DG XVII) and its THERMIE programme for the promotion of energy efficient technologies. It will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on 23-24 May 1995.
The workshop, which will take the form of a small exhibition, will present two new energy-efficient insulation technologies, namely transparent insulation and low energy glazing. It will focus on the application of these technologies to existing buildings in Lithuania, although planned buildings will also be taken into consideration.
The workshop aims to establish contacts between suppliers of insulation technologies in the EU and in the Baltic countries for future activities in this field.
