The fourth workshop on "Harmonization within atmospheric dispersion modelling for regulatory purposes" will take place in Ostende, Belgium, on 6-9 May 1996. It is organized in the framework of the COST programme for cooperation in the field of scientific and technical research.
The workshop will focus on operational local impact models for simple and complex terrain, with an emphasis on:
- Intercomparison, validation and practical applications;
- Practical use of models for real-life environmental impact assessment problems;
- Harmonization in the pre-processing of the meteorological data required by these models;
- Modelling in the urban company.
