What should European Union energy policy be?

A debate on the European Commission's Green Paper on Energy, entitled "What should European Union energy policy be?", will take place in Brussels on 22-23 June 1995. It is organized with the support of DG XVII of the Commission and the cooperation of the "Europe Energy" publication.

The debate will focus on the following topics:

- Presentation of the Green Paper on Energy;
- The internal market for energy and the competitiveness of the EU;
- Security of supply, regional policy, trans-European networks;
- Energy and environmental protection;
- International cooperation;
- Renewable energy sources;
- Energy and technology.
