European Union aid and cooperation programmes

The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the UK Department of Trade and Industry is organizing a seminar on "European Union aid and cooperation programmes". It will take place in London on 15 June 1995.
Through its external aid programmes, PHARE and TACIS and initiatives supporting the Mediterranean region, the European Commission finances infrastructure projects, the supply of equipment and materials, and the provision of technical services to Central and Eastern Europe, the New Independent States, and the non-EU Mediterranean counties.
The seminar will update delegates on these programmes and present the wide range of business opportunities available in the countries concerned. Representatives from DG I of the Commission will also explain how companies can take advantage of EU funding to secure business in these countries.
