Waste-to-Energy Workshop

A European workshop entitled "Waste-to-Energy" will take place in Rochefort, France, on 14-15 September 1995. The event is being organized in the framework of the THERMIE programme for energy efficient technologies.

The workshop will examine the following topics:

- European policy in solid waste incineration within the THERMIE programme;
- Waste-to-energy: efficient technologies and the establishment of installations;
- Incineration and electricity generation;
- Incineration and policy on waste management; France case study.
