TEN-Telecom'96 - Consultation workshop
The main purpose of the TEN-Telecom'96 work programme is to select the areas in which projects of common interest can be proposed, and to establish the basis for the launching, by the Commission, of the forthcoming call for proposals due to be published in the Official Journal of the European Communities in March 1996.
As part of the consultation process, a consultation workshop will take place on 29 January 1996. The workshop is intended for private and public organizations interested in the development of trans-European telecommunications networks and services, either as promoters, investors or as users. This includes telecom operators, on-line service providers, industrial and users associations, multimedia content suppliers, hardware and software manufacturers, regional agencies and financial bodies. The participation of SMEs is encouraged.
During the one-day workshop an opportunity will be given for a more detailed discussion of the content and the themes of the work programme and participants will be able to share views on promising innovative projects. Participation at this workshop is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs are to be covered by the participants.
