Fifth International World Wide Web Conference
The conference will bring together users, developers and researchers working with the World Wide Web. The programme comprises tutorials and workshops (6 May) and a technical programme (7-9 May) which will include reviewed paper presentations, invited speakers, state-of-the-art reports and panels. An SME Forum, jointly sponsored by the European Commission's Information Technologies (ESPRIT) and Telematics Applications programmes (DG III and DG XIII respectively), will take place on 9-10 May. The SME Forum will feature a series of events demonstrating how small- and medium-sized companies (SMEs) can do business on the WWW.
A "Developer's Day", covering up-to-date technology issues, is being organized for 10 May, while a three-day exhibition (8-10 May) will display the latest equipment, systems, software, services, applications, literature and other products of importance to the World Wide Web.
