The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) - Europe is holding its sixth annual meeting in Sicily, Italy, on 19-22 May 1996. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for environmental scientists and SETAC members to share information, views and ideas on a wide range of important environmental issues.
The focus for this year's meeting is "Environmental toxicology and pollutant stress", although other more general topics within the area of environmental toxicology and chemistry will also be covered.
The European Commission's specific RTD programme in the area of environment and climate (1994-1998) will participate in the four-day meeting.
